Niseko Taproom was born in 2016 when two friends with a passion for great beer teamed up to create a cosy and welcoming taproom in the heart of Grand Hirafu to allow people to try the ever growing range of quality beers being brewed here on the island of Hokkaido.

Combining wonderful craft beer with quality home made mountain food in a sociable & friendly environment has been the core of what makes the Niseko Taproom what it is today.

The bars layout with an open kitchen mean from big groups to solo travellers our visitors inevitably end up chatting to our team or each other, about the days powder, beer or their other mountainous adventures.

Meet The Team

Paul

Paul moved to Hokkaido from Belgium following his passion for baseball. As well as the Niseko Taproom, Paul also runs a Belgian beer cafe in Sapporo and consults for a number of other restaurants and bars on the island.

John

John has lived and worked in Niseko for many years and has always wanted to setup a craft beer bar, Niseko Taproom was the result. You'll often find John snow-shoeing in the winter or enjoying some of beautiful local golf courses in the summer.
